A/N: To address the elephant in the room, yes, I know it's been some months since I updated anything? Why? A/N: After watching the Loud House Movie, my drama-filled and weird mind couldn't help but notice the near death experience the Louds went through; those being nearly burned to death by dragon and falling off a cliff. However, we're gonna focus on the former instead of the latter. The Will To Write

So I know I've been rather dormant for the last few months and chapters from me have been few and far between. Some stories like Syn might seem dead because I haven't updated them in months while others are approaching the two month period without an update. Reason for that is, aside from getting into a new apartment last October, I've been rather busy with my job and haven't had time to sit down and write stuff out. Plus, there's the factor of having that inspiration to do so. Writing these stories is a hobby, so they often take less priority than me wanting to play some TF2, CoC, or something like that; Clash of Clans has Clan Games going on as well so I'm more occupied on that end too. But that doesn't mean I have abandoned my stories. If I ever do, I'd let everyone know; but it's mainly the fact I haven't had much of the will to sit and write 5k words in one sitting. Now, Syn is going to end in like, maybe 10 or 12 chapters and I'm not even halfway done with Stride; plus the

So, after some painstaking 2 months of getting stuff moved and then moving into a new place, I have the next chapter for Stride and Two Reflections that are nearly ready for view. Still need to go proofread and edit some stuff, but hopefully I can put them up by Monday or Tuesday. Still doing some work on Syn though...

A lot of things happened in October that delayed my chance to do a lot of writing; one of which is moving to a new apartment. So, I had to push back publishing my other stuff because Im still working on them, but I decided to post my finished oneshot since it was already made and ready.

My man Yuli-Ban has embraced my love of Platonic Lucy-coln, but he's more ambitious than I am and has teased the idea of writing an original fiction piece that's basically one of these drama stories. Personally I like that idea.

Take Syngenesophobia. I'm not trying to pressure you or anything, but very honestly, I just feel that fanfic "aged out" of itself. The context of why it was made has changed. Details were retconned, unclear details were clarified that Jossed details in the story, and so on. It's almost for the best it just remain on permanent hiatus, maybe with a final "what it would have been" update.

But, and this is a big sexy butt, it's still a very attractive concept. Same thing with "What is a Person Worth?"

We were talking about it a bit and realized that if someone scrubbed off the character names and repurposed these stories as an "original" fiction, you could probably go very far with them. That's what he's been thinking of doing, but he didn't want to take Syn or Worth and run away with it, even though he has an idea for a story about a large, loving family broken apart by accidental horrific deeds against one of their own.

What do you think: how attractive of an idea is it to make a "legally not Loud House drama story" that's actually fully original? Or at the very least letting someone else take one of the general concepts and using it for an original fic? Because TLH doesn't own the concept of a kid in a large family, not even a middle child boy in a large family.

It'd certainly allow for much greater creative freedom without the baggage that comes with being a Loud House fan or even a Sad Loud House fanfic writer (I don't know how active you've been in the fanfic community, but the winds have DEFINITELY shifted against angsty family drama stories in the past 2 years). But judging by the Twitter reaction to Horrid Henry recently and even that one Proud Family episode that was similar to NSL, it's clear people really do still want "family drama/retribution/forgiveness/revenge" stories.

At the very least, considering your writing caliber, you could also conceivably write a Not!Loud House version of Worth? or Syn and actually get it professionally published. But if not, at least an official "Sure, use the concept, but at least credit me" would be okay too.

Things like these make me have no regrets for having that falling out with That-Engineer, the guy whom I'm convinced writes dramatic fanfics with plots that serve as an excuse to say it's okay to ship bullies.)
